Joe Dennes is responsible for research, development, innovation, quality assurance, and codes / testing across GAF’s Residential and Commercial roofing businesses. He leads an experienced team that includes new product development, process R&D, raw materials R&D, and innovation/technical scouting.
Prior to joining GAF, Joe spent nearly 15 years at DuPont, one of the world’s leading chemical companies, in leadership positions including Global Head of Marketing and Strategy for the DuPont Safety platform, Global Market Director for Aerospace, and Global Technical Director for DuPont Tyvek®. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Millersville University, and a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from Princeton University.
