No, you do not need to be a certified roofing contractor with GAF to order a GAF QuickMeasure™ report. Anyone can order a GAF QuickMeasure™ report.
GAF QuickMeasure™ reports are available in the United States and Canada. Please refer to the Coverage Map for specific availability.
Roof measurements on a GAF QuickMeasure report are generally about 95% accurate as to the actual roof measurements as of the date the GAF QuickMeasure report was created. If the roof measurements are less than 95% accurate based on photographs and other evidence that GAF may request, we will provide you with a replacement GAF QuickMeasure report for the same location. To receive a new report, you must contact GAF within thirty (30) days of receiving the original report.
PDF, XML, and DXF files formats are all included with your GAF QuickMeasure™ report, as well as a 3D rendering.
Except where GAF has specified a longer time frame prior to your submission of an order , GAF QuickMeasure™ reports are generally sent out within one (1) hour of you submitting an order for single-family residential homes and within twenty-four (24) hours for multi-family residential homes and commercial buildings, If an order is not sent to you within the applicable time frame and you have not canceled your order, notify GAF within twenty-four (24) hours of the expected delivery time and you will receive a credit to purchase a report of like kind (e.g., if you ordered a GAF QuickMeasure™ report for a single-family residential home, the credit would be for a GAF QuickMeasure™ report of a single-family residential home). A credit will not be issued if the delay is due to causes outside GAF’s control, for example, a disruption to your internet connection.
