Alma Garnett is responsible for driving the long-term strategic growth of the Commercial sales organization. Prior to joining GAF, Alma served as CEO and President of Convoy Supply, a subsidiary of SOPREMA that supplies construction materials through more than 45 branches across Canada and the US. She is also the founder and President of Hunter Panels, a leading manufacturer of polyisocyanurate insulation.
Alma is a founding member of Women in Roofing (WinR) and a founding board member of The Girls Foundation of Tanzania. She received the VRCA (Vancouver Regional Construction Association) Outstanding Woman in Construction award in 2015. Alma received her BA from Smith College in Massachusetts and is a graduate of the Ivey Business School at Western University’s QuantumShift Program.
