Postpone the need for a roof tear-off
Depending on the condition of the existing mod-bit or BUR roof, EverGuard® Fleece-back single-ply membranes can be mechanically attached or adhered with low-rise foam in recover applications as an alternative to a total tear-off and reroof. Either method postpones the need for a roof tear-off by up to 20 years, saving labor, reducing waste, and causing minimal disruption thanks to low odor and noise. Guarantees up to 20 years are available for qualified systems.*

Ways to recover & application methods
An EverGuard® Fleece-back TPO or PVC recover can be installed mechanically with fasteners or with a Low Rise Foam (LRF) adhesive such as GAF LRF Adhesive XF. For your most cost-effective installation we recommend plates and fasteners.
Steps to recover an existing roof with LRF adhered fleece-back membrane
Evaluate the roof
Perform moisture scan, check for structural deterioration, number of existing roofs, roof slope and taper, repairs, patches and blisters.
Conduct an adhesion test
If the adhesive releases, consider mechanically attaching the membrane. For more details on how to conduct an adhesion test, please refer to the manual.

Attach the membrane
