GAF ScopeConnect^SM Service

The two major components of an insurance scope of work are the line-item price estimates and standard industry action codes. Instead of just providing a vague lump-sum price estimate, the line-item breakdown uses standard industry databases to itemize every action, quantity, and unit cost to generate an estimate. Alongside those prices, you'll see industry shorthand codes like R&R for "remove and replace" or D&R for "detach and reset." These codes spell out the scope of labor required for each line item.

The GAF ScopeConnect℠ service includes a scope of work in an industry standard format and the ability to personalize the estimate with your company logo and information. Estimates are suitable for full roof replacements only, including gutters. Note: Local building codes are considered in preparation of estimate in the U.S. National building codes are considered in preparation of the estimate in Canada.

If you do insurance work, estimates using Cotality (Symbility) or Xactimate software are often required by insurance carriers to help determine repair or replacement costs associated with roofing projects. GAF ScopeConnect℠ Service can deliver an estimate written by Cotality-trained and Xactimate-certified estimators in an industry-standard format quickly. No specialized training or dedicated personnel is needed. 

Order a GAF ScopeConnect℠ estimate from the GAF QuickMeasure™ ordering site. First, ensure you have sufficient funds in your account before beginning your order.  Then navigate to "Place Order." Select the single-family property type and enter the property address. Be sure to select the corresponding address from the pre-populated drop-down menu. Verify that the pin has landed on the correct location. Select ScopeConnect℠ report type. Provide additional emails to receive the report and any additional roof details if necessary on the following page, and then select Submit Order.

No, you do not need to be certified with GAF to order a GAF ScopeConnect℠ estimate.

You do not need to purchase a roof measurement report or provide your own roof measurements to order an estimate. The service independently obtains roof measurements to create your estimate. A full roof measurement report does not come with your order. You can purchase a bundle that includes a GAF QuickMeasure™ report and an estimate.
