About

Saber Roofing Inc. is a second-generation, family-owned and operated roofing business that serves homeowners in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. The company works with standard roofing materials (composition shingles, wood shingles, torch-on flat roof systems, elastomeric roof coatings and fire-retardant shakes) and has specialized experience with slate application. It also installs seamless gutter and downspout systems, solar panels, sun tunnels, skylights, attic ventilation, insulation and flashings. Co-owner Jay Saber began his roofing career in 1982 with one truck and one assistant. Today, Saber Roofing has a fleet of eight vehicles and 15 full-time employees, including Mr. Saber’s business partner and son, President Ryan Saber. “Our installers use state-of-the-art materials and cutting-edge techniques, but we offer a traditional approach to doing business,” he says. “Our customers come first, and quality is of paramount importance.” Saber Roofing handles every phase of its projects, from estimates through final clean-up, and its work ranges from simple repairs to whole roof construction. There are no surprises or hidden costs, says Mr. Saber. Customers receive an education on the roofing procedure and are kept informed with daily progress reports.
